Scott co-founded bCreative (then known as Capital Concepts) over thirty years ago as a poster publishing company. Starting with a single funny poster, he has grown the business into a leading licensing agency for humorous properties and unique original artwork. Skilled in sales, marketing, brand and product development, Scott’s collaboration with talented artists, designers, and other content creators has resulted in thousands of products produced under license from bCreative by leading publishers and manufactures of consumer goods. The products created from bCreative’s expansive licensing portfolio can be found at home, gift, stationery, apparel, and outdoor retailers worldwide, as well as with many online retailers and marketplaces. Scott has particularly enjoyed the challenge of representing and protecting the interest of the talented creative people he works with while still satisfying the commercial needs of his business customers, all the time staying relevant and cutting edge to the ever-changing retail marketplace and consumer tastes.

Scott lives in beautiful Charlottesville, Virginia where he and his wife raised their children for the past 20+ years. He is a proud Penn State grad, but is a big supporter of UVA sports and community too!

Claire is thrilled to have been on the bCreative team since 2000.  As Director of Accounts, Claire handles the daily tasks that keep bCreative operating smoothly.  From artwork intake, archiving and dissemination, to royalty collection and distribution, she is a master at multi-tasking and loves a good challenge (unless it involves accounting). Her favorite part of working at bCreative is the daily interaction she has with licensees and creatives.

Claire grew up in Richmond, Virginia and graduated from University of Mary Washington with a BA in English Literature. She lives in Goochland, Virginia with her husband and daughter, where high-speed Internet is “still not a thing,” but rolling hills and clear starry skies most definitely are. When she’s not in the office, she is spending time with her family or reading.
